In a May 6 story about minority student recruitment at the University of Virginia, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Greg Thrasher's two children were accepted to the school. His daughter was accepted to the law school but there was no record of an application from his son, U.Va. officials said. Thrasher explained that his son considered the undergraduate school but decided not to apply.
