18, 2005 -- The Thomas Jefferson Award Committee is
soliciting nominations for this year’s honoree, to
be recognized Oct. 21 at Fall Convocation.
The
award, considered the highest honor given to a member of
the University community,
is given to a member of the faculty, administration or
staff who has exemplified in character, work and influence
the
principles and ideals of Thomas Jefferson.
Send nominations with supporting data, including a resume
and letters of support, to the committee, c/o Leake Cottage,
P. O. Box 400139 by noon, Sept. 23.
