Should such a crisis happen during this year’s “move-in day,” the U.Va. Police will be well equipped with the installation of 13 life-saving automated external defibrillators in their fleet of patrol cars. The dog days of summer aren’t the only thing cooking around U.Va.’s Grounds. The new $23.5 million Observatory Hill Dining Hall is open for business, offering students, staff and faculty a smorgasbord of dining options at seven state-of-the-art food stations. The two-story eatery boasts a seating capacity of 900 indoor seats and 100 outdoor terrace seats. Full story.
