A Dec. 2 Associated Press story incorrectly referred to the "president of the University of Virginia" in the lead paragraph of its report on the decision by the University of Richmond's board of trustees to retain Richmond President William E. Cooper. The incorrect story was posted on the Web sites of several broadcast news outlets before AP corrected the story in subsequent versions.
