February Blood Drive January 22, 1999 -- Walk-in hours: Feb. 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Feb. 3, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Where: Primary Care Center, classrooms A & B Individuals also may call the Donor Center at 243-2999 to make an appointment for donating blood at the center, located in the old hospital, room 1206, on the first floor. Blood types O and B still remain in very short supply. Blood donors needed/ Give the gift of life -- donate blood The Health Sciences Center and Virginia Blood Service will hold a blood drive in February, with walk-in hours scheduled Feb. 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Feb. 3, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Primary Care Center classrooms A & B. Individuals also may call the Donor Center at 243-2999 to make an appointment for donating blood at the center, located in the old hospital, room 1206, on the first floor. Interested employees can set up a recruiting program in their office or department by contacting Susan Bywaters, blood drive coordinator, at 924-2275 or sab6j@virginia.edu. The "Challenger's Cup" will be presented to the recruiter who has signed up the most donors. |
