Board Of Education President To Speak Dec. 8 At U.Va.s Curry
School
Nov. 30, 1999 -- How Virginia schools will
change in the coming century will be the thrust of a Dec. 8 talk
by Kirk Schroder, president of the Virginia Board of Education,
at the University of Virginias Curry School of Education.
Schroders
talk, "Virginias Schools: Challenges for the 21st
Century," is part of the semester-long 1999 Curry Forum on
Educational Issues. Schroder will speak at 1 p.m. in room 004C of
Ruffner Halls ground floor.
The
forum, "Educational Issues for the 21st Century,"
addresses topics expected to be prominent in the new millennium.
The
talk is open to the public without admission charge.
