International Business Executives At Darden For Summer Management
18, 1999 -- More than 650 senior executives will
head back to school as participants in one of 18 management development
programs offered by the University of Virginia's Darden
of Business Administration this summer.
Executive Program, Darden's six-week management program, began its
42nd session on June 1. Executives from around the world will participate
in a variety of learning experiences, such as individual presentations,
team learning, computer simulation exercises, lectures, and multimedia

Negotiation: A Learning Laboratory; Business-to-Business Marketing
Management; Investment Banking: Value Creation and Deal Evaluation;
Managing Critical Resources; Managing Individual and Organizational
Change; Multiparty Negotiations; Strategic Cost Management: Tools
for Improving Financial Performance; and Strategic Sales Management.
again this summer are three specialized programs: the Minority Business
Executive Program; Defense Acquisition Executives-U.S. Army; and
Emerging Political Leaders.
