Informational Meetings on Sickness and Disability Plan January 22, 1999 -- State classified employees who wish to enroll in the new Commonwealth of Virginia Sickness and Disability Program have until March 31. Employees must choose whether or not to switch to the new program, which replaces accumulating sick leave with a set number of sick days and "family and personal leave" days, but adds short-term disability insurance at no cost to employees. They need to submit the form to Human Resources even if they don't enroll in the new program. For information, call the Benefits Office at 924-4392.
