Who
Really Won and Why? UVA Center Presents Respected National Analysts
at American Democracy Conference
November
29, 2000 -- The University of Virginia Center for
Governmental Studies will co-host the third-annual American Democracy
Conference on Monday, December 4th
at the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. In conjunction
with The Hotline, the Center will bring together the
nations foremost political reporters and analysts to discuss
the tumultuous 2000 elections. Panelists include Andrea Mitchell,
Bob Schieffer, Elizabeth Drew, Craig Crawford and Chuck Todd from
The Hotline, and Center for Governmental Studies Director
Larry J. Sabato.
Building
on the remarkable success of the three previous American Democracy
Conferences, this years event promises to be more informative
and entertaining than ever. The Conference, held in the Monticello
Room of the historic Watergate Hotel, will consist of three
panels:
