Art Expert Paul Barolsky To Speak Oct. 12
October
9, 2000 -- Paul Barolsky, Commonwealth
Professor of Art History in the McIntire Department of Art at the
University of Virginia, will give a public lecture on "Botticellis
Primavera and the Poetic Imagination of Italian Renaissance
Art" on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Campbell Hall, Room
160.
Barolsky
is one of the worlds leading authorities on the art of Renaissance
Italy and is the author of numerous books, essays, articles and
reviews on the subject.
