"Lines,
Marks, & Motion": Exhibition Of Works By Suzi Fox At Fayerweather

30, 2000 -- The
University of Virginias McIntire Department of Art
will present the work of visiting artist Suzi Fox at Fayerweather
Gallery in November. The exhibition, "Lines, Marks, & Motion,"
runs from Nov. 3 through Nov. 30. The gallery is open from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday
and Sunday. An opening reception on Friday, Nov. 3, begins at 5:30
p.m.
Fox will give an artists
lecture on Thursday, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m. in Campbell Hall, Room 160.
Her sculptural work focuses on
kinetics, movement and imaginative qualities that seek to create
a form of communication between the object and the viewer.
A recent graduate of the Rhode
Island School of Design where she received her M.F.A., Fox exhibited
in a group show in New York City this fall. A visiting artist in
the McIntire Department of Art, she teaches sculpture and drawing.
