U.Va. Art Museum Will Be Closed Saturday, Dec. 8, To Prepare For Holiday Auction

November 28, 2001-- The University of Virginia Art Museum will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 8, to prepare for "My Favorite Things," the annual Holiday Auction which will be held at the museum that evening from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Sponsored by the Young Friends of the University of Virginia Art Museum, the evening will feature a silent auction of holiday art pieces and ornaments by artists around the area and country. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Advance reservations are required.
