Artist Ben Rubin To Give Dean's Forum Lecture At U.VA. School OF
Architecture April 11, 2001-- WHO: Ben Rubin, electronic artist, Electronic Arts Research Studio, New York WHAT: Lecture on his work WHEN: Friday, April 20, 5 p.m. WHERE: Campbell Hall, Room 153 Ben Rubin, a sound and video artist who teaches sound design at New York University's Film School and Interactive Telecommunications Program, will lecture on his work. He received the 2000 Art in Multimedia grant from the Brooklyn Academy of Music and Bell Labs to develop his project "Ear to the Ground." He is director of Electronic Arts Research Studio, a multimedia design and technology firm he founded in 1993.
