Sculptor And Architect Will Bruder To Speak At U.Va.

February 14, 2001-- Will Bruder, a sculptor and self-trained architect with a concern for detail, will give the Thomas Jefferson Professor Lecture at the University of Virginia School of Architecture at 5 p.m., Friday, March 2, in Campbell Hall, Room 153.

Bruder’s work is highly regarded for its sensible solutions to site adaptation and user needs. His recently completed Phoenix, Arizona Central Library has garnered international acclaim.

As the U.Va. School of Architecture’s 2001 Thomas Jefferson Professor, Bruder is leading a design studio in architecture this semester.
