Bayly Exhibit Matches Flowers To Art
"Flowers Interpret Art" exhibit and buffet dinner
Tuesday, April 24, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (exhibit); 6-8 p.m. (dinner)
Bayly Art Museum, University of Virginia, Rugby Road
Bayly Art Museum invites individuals, groups and organizations to
create a still-life floral arrangement in response to selected works
of art on view at the museum. The museum conducts this unique celebration
of art and flowers in support of Historic Garden Week in Virginia,
April 21-28. For more than ten years the Bayly has held this event.

including "Conversation with Igun: Sculpture by Melvin Edwards,"
"Surely We Are Essential: Images of Nursing in the 20th
Century," and "Galactic Journal: Recent Paintings and
Collages by Robert Reed." Arrangements are displayed in close
proximity to the works of art they reflect.

Dinner is $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members.

Bayly Art Museum, a wheelchair-accessible facility, is open without
charge Tuesday-Sunday, 1-5 p.m. Limited parking is available behind
