Schedules Free Arts Events During Reunions Weekend June 2-3
May 11, 2001-- During the University of Virginia annual Reunions Weekend celebrations, three special arts events will be free and open to the public. WHO: Rivanna String Quartet WHAT: Concerts in the Bayly Art Museum WHEN: Saturday, June 2, 11 a.m. - noon and 3 - 4 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 11 a.m. - noon WHO: Tribute to Professor Holly Wright WHAT: Exhibition featuring the photography of Wright's former students WHERE: Bayly Art Museum, Rugby Road WHEN: Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. WHERE: Fayerweather Gallery, Rugby Road WHAT: "Champagne, Jazz and Light Classics" WHO: Pianist Mary Kathleen Ernst and the Free Bridge Quintet WHEN: Sunday, June 3, light champagne breakfast in the lobby at 10 a.m Concert 11 a.m. - noon WHERE: Old Cabell Hall The Bayly Art Museum will be open extended hours during Reunions Weekend: Friday, June 1, 10 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Contact: Jane Ford, (804) 924-4298 |
