Short Film "Upheaval" To Be Screened At U.Va.

Based
on a Chekhov short story, "Upheaval" follows a young married couple
as an argument about a missing heirloom brooch leads to the exposure
of a deeper crisis in the marriage.
The
film, which stars Frances McDormand ("Fargo," "Almost Famous"),
James Urbaniak ("Henry Fool"), and David Chandler ("The Gray Zone"),
has been selected as the opening short film of this years
Lincoln Center/ Museum of Modern Art "New Directors/New Films" Festival.
"Upheaval"
director Itamar Kubovy and editor Affonso Goncalves will be at the
screening to introduce the film and participate in the panel discussion.
The
event is free and open to the public.
