Art Museum Offers Bus Tour To Homes Of Local Folk Art Collectors September 18, 2001-- WHO: University of Virginia Art Museum WHAT: Bus tour to homes of local folk art collectors WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 14, 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. WHERE: Meet at Culbreth Theatre Parking lot. Reception at the museum and tour of folk art exhibition follows bus tour. The University of Virginia Art Museum will offer a bus tour to the homes of three significant contemporary folk art collectors on Sunday, Oct. 14. The tour is in conjunction with the "Singular Visions: Folk Art from Charlottesville Collections" special exhibition, on view at the museum Oct. 5 through Dec. 2. The collectors, who have contributed works for the museum’s exhibit, will lead personal tours of their homes. Minibuses will leave from the Culbreth Theatre parking lot at 1:30 p.m. and are expected to return by 5:30 p.m. A cocktail reception and private tour of the exhibit at the museum will follow the bus tour.
