Art Museum Offers Bus Tour To Homes Of Local Folk Art Collectors

Meet at Culbreth Theatre Parking lot. Reception at the museum
and tour of folk art exhibition follows bus tour.
The
University of Virginia Art Museum will offer a bus tour to the homes
of three significant contemporary folk art collectors on Sunday,
Oct. 14. The tour is in conjunction with the "Singular Visions:
Folk Art from Charlottesville Collections" special exhibition, on
view at the museum Oct. 5 through Dec. 2. The collectors, who have
contributed works for the museums exhibit, will lead personal
tours of their homes.
Minibuses
will leave from the Culbreth Theatre parking lot at 1:30 p.m. and
are expected to return by 5:30 p.m. A cocktail reception and private
tour of the exhibit at the museum will follow the bus tour.
The
cost is $80 per person, $140 per couple. Advance reservations are
required, as places are limited. For reservations or more information,
