Expert On Michelangelo To Give Lecture On Oct. 24

Exploring
the close relationship between Michelangelo's art to his poetry,
theology, biography and aesthetics, Paul Barolsky will discuss the
artist’s creation of Adam and attempts to shed new light on
its meaning and significance. The lecture, “Michelangelo and
the Creation of Adam," is based on his latest book, “Michelangelo
and the Finger of God,” due out in 2003. Barolsky, a Michelangelo
expert, has written two other books on Michelangelo, “Michelangelo's
Nose” and “The Faun in the Garden.”
