Frumkin, influential art dealer and critic, will present this years
Gladys S. Blizzard Lecture, "Working with Westermann,"
Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in Campbell Hall, Room 153.
represented H.C. Westermann, a major figure in American art of the
Post World War II period, for most of the atist's career and will
speak about their professional relationship and the artists
work. This lecture is in conjunction with the exhibition, "See
America First: The Prints of H.C. Westermann," on view at the museum,
through March 31.
annual Blizzard Lecture recognizes the late Gladys S. Blizzards
major contributions to the museums education program. Author
of the childrens books "Come Look With Me," Blizzard was in
the vanguard of educators who put into practice new discoveries
regarding active learning in a museum environment.
