Glynn, an independent scholar working in the field of Indian painting,
will give the University of Virginia Art Museum Ellen Bayard Weedon
Lecture in the Arts of Asia on Monday, March 25.
Glynns
talk, "Collecting Indian Miniature Painting in the West: An Annotated
History," will be in Campbell Hall, Room 153 at 5:30 p.m.
Glynn,
formerly associate curator at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art
and adjunct curator of Asian art at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem,
writes and lectures extensively on various aspects of Indian painting.
