University
of Virginia art faculty bid adieu to Fayerweather Gallery in
an annual faculty exhibit, “Last Tango,” which
opens with a reception on Friday, Sept. 5.
In
spring 2004, Studio Art will move to temporary facilities near
Ruffner
Hall, which houses the Curry School of
Education, while Fayerweather
Hall is renovated
to house art history. Studio Art will move to a new facility to be
built on the Carr’s Hill Arts Grounds.
“Last
Tango” will include works by Bogdan Achimescu, William
Bennett, Richard Crozier, Dean Dass, Doug Dertinger, Jonathan
Durham, Kevin
Everson, Philip Geiger,
Seth Hunter, Megan Marlatt, Akemi Ohira, Lincoln Perry, Eric Schmidt,
Elizabeth Schoyer and William Wylie.
Fayerweather
Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
