University Of Virginia Art Museum Closing Dec. 24-Jan. 14 For The Holiday Season

The University of Virginia Art Museum will be closed during the holiday season and University semester break. The museum will close beginning Friday, Dec. 24, and will reopen Saturday, Jan. 15.

Due to the construction of an indoor vestibule, the front entrance to the museum will be closed the week of Dec. 20. Access will be through the rear entrance.

The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Limited parking is available behind the building, off Rugby Road. The museum is handicapped accessible. For details about exhibitions and information about the museum, call (434) 924-3592.
