U.Va. Art Museum Features Two New Exhibits At Fourth Friday Reception On Oct. 22

October 15, 2004 -- The University of Virginia Art Museum will showcase two new exhibits at a Fourth Friday reception on Friday, Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The exhibits include: “Whiteness, A Wayward Construction” and “Lifeline: Movement and Time in Prints, Drawings and Photographs from the Collection.”

Fourth Friday receptions are free for all members and special guests. A donation of $3 is requested from all nonmembers.
Students may sign up for their free museum membership by visiting the museum Web site: www.virginia.edu/artmuseum. Choose “UVA Students” from the right-hand menu and complete the form.

Students must bring a driver's license or passport identification to verify they are 21 or older.
