Art Museum Features Five New Exhibits At Fourth Friday Reception

The
University of Virginia Art Museum will showcase five new exhibits
at a reception on Friday, Sept. 24 from 5:30
to 7:30 p.m.
The
exhibits include: “Paradise Lost: Landscape
Photographs by Sally Mann,” “The Odyssey: Watercolors
by Karen Shea” “Emmet Gowin: Photographs,” “Jefferson
In and Out” and “The Museum: Condition and Spaces.”
Fourth
Friday receptions are free for all members and special guests.
A donation of $3 is requested from all nonmembers.
Students
may sign up for their free museum membership by visiting the
museum Web site: www.virginia.edu/artmuseum. Choose “UVA
Students” from the right-hand menu and complete the
form.
Students
must bring a driver's license or passport identification to verify
they are 21 or older.
