Returning
fourth-year Distinguished Studio Art Majors in the University
of Virginia’s
McIntire Department of Art will show recent work in Dell I. The exhibit begins
Friday, Sept. 17 and continues through Thursday, Sept. 23. The Dell I exhibit
space is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dell
I is located behind Ruffner Hall on Emmet Street, home of the
Curry School of Education.
Studio Art recently moved out of Fayerweather Hall, which is
being
renovated. The department will occupy two buildings, Dell I and Dell II, until
the new Studio Art Building in the Carr’s Hill Arts Precinct is completed.
Officially named Ruffin Hall, groundbreaking is expected in fall 2005.
Hourly
parking is available in the Emmet Street Parking Garage. Passengers may be
dropped-off on Bonnycastle Drive, off McCormick Road.
