National Physics Day Show
April 8, 2005 --
The 11th Annual National Physics Day Show will be held Tuesday evening, April 19, 2005 in room 203 of the Physics building at the University of Virginia to celebrate National Physics Day. This highly anticipated event is a special family oriented physics demonstration show for the general public. Because of large crowds in recent years, we will have two identical shows this year - at 6:00 pm and at 7:15 pm in the Physics building on McCormick Road. Parking is available in the parking garage on Emmett Street, or after 5:00 pm in the football stadium lots.
Physics professors Steve Thornton and Robert Watkins and lecture demonstrator Mike Timmins will delight the crowd with exciting demonstrations of Physics. These demonstrations will intrigue and excite both young and old and from novice to expert. Bring your family and friends, but come on time.
