Artist Chica Tenney To Give Gallery Talk At  U.Va. Art Museum On Oct. 16

Local artist, educator and art advocate Chica Tenney will give a Gallery Talk at the University of Virginia Art Museum on Sunday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. Tenney’s talk is in conjunction with a citywide exhibit of her work at six cultural institutions she served: the U.Va. Art Museum, Piedmont Virginia Community College Gallery, McGuffey Art Center Gallery, Second Street Gallery and the Paramount Theater. 

The exhibits, collectively titled “Chica Tenney: Advent,” include drawings, silkscreen prints, pastel portraits and landscape paintings, and are a celebration of her 40 years as a Charlottesville artist. The works on display at the museum are landscape renderings in oil.
