MEDIA ADVISORY The first patient to receive a bone marrow transplant at the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center will be available for interviews along with Dr. Peter Waldron, his physician, on Wednesday, April 24. The 12-year-old from Rainelle, W.Va., who began treatment March 18 followed by the bone marrow infusion on March 25, will be available from noon to 1 p.m. or 1:30-2 p.m. prior to his scheduled discharge.
