	Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Joycelyn Elders will be
available to the news media at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 2014 of McLeod
Hall, prior to her 7:30 p.m. speech.  Elders has requested no video or
audio taping during her 45-minute talk in McLeod Hall auditorium.

	Her talk, "Health Care in the 21st Century," is free and open
to the public.  It is sponsored by the Speakers Series of the
University Union.
