18TH ANNUAL DOGWOOD TENNIS TOURNAMENT 
TO BE HELD STARTING APRIL 18TH

	CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., April 11 -- The 18th Annual Dogwood
Tennis Tournament will be hosted by the University of Virginia's
Intramural-Recreational Sports Department as part of
Charlottesville-Albemarle area's April Dogwood Festival.  The
tournament will be held at the new, state-of-the-art Snyder Tennis
Center, located next to Memorial Gym on Emmet Street.
	The Singles Tennis Tournament will be held April 18-21.  This
includes both the men's and women's singles, with an April 14 entry
deadline for both.  The Doubles Tennis Tournament, which includes both
men's and women's and mixed doubles, will be held April 25-28, with an
April 21 entry deadline.  All participants receive a commemorative
t-shirt. Awards are given to the winners and finalists in each event. 
	Tournament entries should be mailed to the
Intramural-Recreational Sports Office, Room 209, Aquatic and Fitness
Center, 450 Whitehead Road, Charlottesville, Va. 22903.
