Roediger, professor of history at the University of Minnesota, will discuss his new book, "Black on White: Black Writers on What it Means to Be White," on Monday, April 27, at 3:30 p.m. in the University of Virginia Bookstore Mezzanine. A reception will follow the talk. Roediger is also the author of the 1991 book, "Wages of Whiteness: Race and the Making of the American Working Class." Joining the discussion will be Eric Lott, associate professor of English; Grace Hale, assistant professor of history, and Tejumola Olaniyan, assistant professor of English.
