PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT


	A town meeting to update the University of Virginia
community on two topics--the Governor's workforce reduction order
and proposed decentralization initiatives--will be held from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16, in the Newcomb Hall ballroom. 

	A question-and-answer session will follow brief
presentations by Leonard W. Sandridge, executive vice president and
chief financial officer; Colette Capone, vice president for
management and budget; Peter W. Low, vice president and provost; and
Thomas E. Gausvik, chief human resources officer.
