RELEASE ON RECEIPT



      CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA., Dec. 19 -- The Board of Visitors of the 
University of Virginia is pleased to announce that Richard F. Edlich, M.D., 
Ph.D. has been named as the recipient of the Raymond F. Morgan endowed chair 
in plastic surgery.  Dr. Edlich is the vice chair in the department of 
plastic surgery and a professor in the department of biomedical engineering.
