CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP OFFERED AT RICHMOND CENTER CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Dec. 23 -- Budding writers can "go to the elephant" during two creative writing workshops to be held in Richmond soon. Led by University of Virginia instructor and playwright Douglas Jones, each six-week session will involve in-class writing, dream journals and monologues. According to Jones, "If you give your best, you will come away from this class a better writer -- you'll also find out what 'go to the elephant' means!" Classes will take place in the Richmond Center of U.Va.'s Division of Continuing Education at 7740 Shrader Road, suite E. The first session runs for six Tuesdays, beginning Jan. 16. The second session begins Tuesday, April 9, and continues through May 14. The cost of the workshop is $210. For more information, contact Christy Haden at (804) 662-7464. ### December 22, 1995
