94-02-24 Ann Antrobus Appointed University of Virginia Registrar ANN ANTROBUS APPOINTED UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA REGISTRAR CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Feb. 24 -- Ann Antrobus, acting registrar at the University of Virginia since last year, has been appointed to the post on a permanent basis following a national search, University officials announced Wednesday. Antrobus, who has served as assistant and associate registrar over the past 15 years, replaces Roger Printup, who became registrar of Stanford University in August. Antrobus has played a major role in developing numerous innovative programs that have made the U.Va. Registrar's Office a national leader in its field, interim vice president and provost Peter W. Low said in making the announcement. "Her broad experience with advanced systems in the registration and advising process clearly identified her as the best individual to lead the office in the years ahead," he said. Antrobus, who holds a B.S. degree from the College of William and Mary and an M.Ed. from U.Va., has been instrumental in developing such programs here as OASIS (On-line Access to Student Information Systems), PACE (the Programmed Academic Curriculum Evaluation) and ISIS (the Integrated Student Information System). Last fall she was responsible for implementing telephone registration for the first time at U.Va. She is an active participant in national and regional professional associations of registrars. ### February 23, 1994 [Submitted by: Karen A.
