CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER JULIAN BOND TO SPEAK
ON NEW REPUBLICAN CONGRESS

	Julian Bond, civil rights historian at the University of
Virginia and a longtime leader in the civil rights movement, will
talk about the new Republican Congress and its effects on civil
rights Wednesday, Feb. 8, at the U.Va. law school.  The talk and a
discussion period will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Room 199.
