ARCHITECTURE FORUM ON "HOW WE WORK" WILL FEATURE ENVIRONMENTAL TALK BY WILLIAM MCDONOUGH, DISCUSSIONS BY FORMER AIA PRESIDENT WILLIAM CHAPIN AND OTHER NOTED EXPERTS CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Feb. 1 -- University of Virginia students and the public will be able to take a wide-ranging look at today's architecture profession and related fields at a forum on the theme "How We Work" sponsored by the U.Va. School of Architecture Feb. 10-11. Architecture dean William A. McDonough, one of the country's leading innovators and advocates of environmentally sensitive design, will give a public talk on environmental issues affecting all aspects of society in Newcomb Hall Ballroom at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. The forum provides an opportunity for students to learn from practicing professionals about the world of work they will soon enter. Participants will include alumni and business leaders in a wide range of fields, including architecture, preservation, landscape architecture, architectural history, urban and environmental planning, engineering, environmental science and conservation. A panel discussion at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 11 in 153 Campbell Hall will focus on how many of these disciplines today must work closely together, as well as on such themes as environmental sensitivity and the growing impact of technology in the design field. Among several noted panelists and forum participants will be L.
