PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT WORLD WILDLIFE FUND SCIENTIST TO DISCUSS ECOLOGY ISSUES MARCH 4 Theo Colburn, senior scientist and manager of the World Wildlife Fund's special project on wildlife and environmental contaminants, will speak at the University of Virginia Monday, March 4. At 11 a.m. in the Rotunda Dome Room she will present a "Declaration of Interdependence" as the latest in a continuing series of leading environmental speakers on the theme of interdependence with nature. The "Declarations of Interdependence" series is sponsored by the U.Va. School of Architecture. At 1 p.m. Colburn will lecture in architecture dean William McDonough's "Environmental Choices" class in Old Cabell Hall Auditorium. Both talks are open to the public. Colburn has published a number of books and papers, testified before the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, lectured extensively and served in an advisory capacity to state, federal and international groups concerning the effects of toxic chemicals.
