PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT


	A panel discussion will focus on environmental issues
related to transportation in the Charlottesville area on Wednesday,
Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall at the University of Virginia.

	Featured panelists will include Tom Leback, U.Va. capital
budget manager; Hannah Twaddell, senior planner of the Thomas
Jefferson Planning District Commission; and Juan Wade, senior
planner of the Albemarle County Office of Planning and Community
Development.  Panelists will give a brief presentation of their
experiences in transportation planning, followed by a question and
answer session.

	The panel discussion, moderated by U.Va. architecture dean
William McDonough, is open to the public.  It is a part of a course
on "Environmental Choices" taught by McDonough.
