PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT


"TOWARD THE MILLENNIUM: THE ELECTIONS OF 1996"

	The University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs
will sponsor a special forum on the 1996 elections and current
politics on Monday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m.
	Featured at the event will be U.Va. political scientist
Larry Sabato, co-author of a new book, "Toward the Millennium: The
Elections of 1996."  The book is the first on the 1996 presidential
and congressional elections.
	A panel will include three prominent journalists and
political observers.  They are Tom Rosenstiel of the Project for
Excellence in Journalism, Brooks Jackson of CNN, and Richard Cohen
of the National Journal, all contributors to the book.
