                   PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

     Are you a grandparent?  Did you know that about a third of all
medicines that children ingest are their grandparents'? 
Grandparents may not be used to locking up medicines.  Everyone
must make sure medications are locked up or placed out of reach
when children are present. Children can be severely poisoned if
they swallow medications not meant for them.     

     Call the University of Virginia Blue Ridge Poison Control
Center at 804-924-5543 for emergencies or questions.  Keep syrup of 
ipecac on hand. Help us keep Poison Prevention Week, March 19-25, poison-free.
