MEDIA ADVISORY


     "Sweet Dreams: A Bedtime Party," a special event for children
at the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center, will be
held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 at the Madge M. Jones Activity
Terrace on the seventh floor of University Hospital.  Guest readers
will be Cecilia Minden-Cupp and Meggan McPadden from Barnes and
Noble Booksellers, and David Cupp of WVIR-TV 29. Other activities
include pillowcase decorating and bedtime snacks.

     A magic show, "Magic! Magic! Magic," will be presented at the
Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center, 250 West, at 3 p.m.
Wednesday, March 22.  Dr. Magic and the Albemarle High School Class
Act Magic Club will perform in the Large Classroom at the center. 

     Sponsored by U.Va.'s Hospital Education Department, the
activities are a part of Children and Hospitals Week which ends
