RUSSIAN COLLEGE PRESIDENTS TO VISIT U.VA. APRIL 3 CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., March 30 -- A delegation of Russian Federation university presidents will attend a seminar describing American higher education on Monday, April 3, at the University of Virginia. The group of approximately 12 presidents is spending about two weeks in the United States visiting several cities and universities. During the U.Va. seminar at Zehmer Hall, the presidents will attend several lectures including an overview of American higher education by Jennings L. Wagoner Jr., a Curry School of Education professor. Philip M. Nowlen, dean, Division of Continuing Education, will also describe the new types of students pursuing education at American universities.
