Dr. Richard W. McCallum, Paul Janssen professor of internal medicine 
at the University of Virginia, has received an award in the Medical Excellence 
Scholarship Program from the Southern Medical Association. The award was 
presented in recognition of his work on gastrointestinal motility problems.
