PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT U.VA. ARCHITECTURE DEAN WILLIAM MCDONOUGH TO BE FEATURED ON NPR'S "LIVING ON EARTH" William A. McDonough, dean of the University of Virginia's School of Architecture and a national leader in environmental design, will be featured in an in-depth profile on the next weekly "Living on Earth" program on National Public Radio. The award-winning environmental program is broadcast on more than 250 NPR stations. In the Charlottesville area it will be aired on WMRA/WMRY-FM 103.5 at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, and on WVTF/WVTU-FM 89.3 at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25. "Living on Earth" features news, interviews and commentary on a broad range of ecological issues each week. McDonough, winner of a 1996 U.S. Presidential Award for Sustainable Development, has been involved in numerous projects in this country and abroad promoting the concept of environmental sustainablity and non-polluting products and designs.
