MEDIA ADVISORY

	The University of Virginia's Curry School of Education is playing a 
significant role in enhancing reading-readiness skills on the local, state 
and national levels.

            Two releases describing recent federal and state awards are 
enclosed.

	Good visual opportunities of young children being tutored are 
available at Johnson Elementary School.
