93-09-15 Speech-Language-Hearing Center Offers Help for Young Children SPEECH-LANGUAGE-HEARING CENTER OFFERS HELP FOR YOUNG CHILDREN CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Sept. 15 -- The Speech-Language-Hearing Center at the University of Virginia will offer a new program for four- and five-year-olds this year. Specialists will test the children and help develop their speech, language and communication skills. Beginning next week, the speech and language enrichment program will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon. The sessions will continue through May 5. Individual and group therapy will be provided by certified speech-language pathologists and graduate speech-language and audiology student clinicians. Tuition is $65 per week.
