93-09-24 Bouchard Receives Publication Award from the College and University Personnel Assoc.

BOUCHARD RECEIVES PUBLICATION AWARD FROM THE
COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY PERSONNEL ASSOCIATION

     CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., Sept. 25 -- Ronald Bouchard, associate
vice president of administration at the University of Virginia, was
recently given the Kathryn G. Hansen Publication Award from the
College and University Personnel Association (CUPA).
     The award recognizes the authors of a publication or videotape
that has significantly contributed to the human resources
profession.  Bouchard, along with co-authors Clint Davidson of
Vanderbilt University and Ray T. Fortunato of Penn State
University, were honored for their book "Cost Effective Strategies
for Managing the Human Resources Function."
     CUPA represents 6,000 human resources professionals at more
than 1,600 colleges and universities nationwide.  Bouchard is a
past president of CUPA.
