EDUCATION FORUM Beverly Sgro, former Virginia Secretary of Education, will be among speakers at the 1998 99 Curry Forum at the University of Virginia on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 1 p.m. The forum's theme is "Policy Issues Affecting Schooling in the United States." Sgro, now head of the Richmond Collegiate School, will participate in a panel discussion about issues pertaining to private schooling in the United States. Other panelists will include Charlotte Lange, head of St. Gertrude High School, and Dennis Campbell, who heads Woodberry Forest. Sponsored by U.Va.'s Curry School of Education, the panel is one in a series that focuses on kindergarten-through-grade-12 instruction. The series, which is free and open to the public, is held Wednesdays throughout the semester at 1 p.m. in Room 004C of Ruffner Hall.
